What if today were Gawker’s last day on earth?

Gawker I can do without but then I don’t live in NY and I don’t have undue internet popularity because of them either. If talking about the Gawker empire I would miss Consumerist for all the financial and consumer advice that includes recalls, exec contact info, shady corporate stories, tax tips, and hot deals. I’d miss Lifehacker for making my computer experience lovely with Gina’s ‘Better GMail’ scripts, links to helpful sharewares, and DIY projects. I’d miss Jezebel’s Photoshop of Horrors coverage, feminist-related news from around the world, and mash-ups of Tyra. Idolator for music news, Defamer for Hollywood shame, Wonkette for political news and Paultards and Gizmodo for product reviews. And I’d miss Fleshbot for obvious reasons. And all of this delivered with professional snark.
